London gardens often plagued by shade cast from extensions, fencing, and neighbouring trees. The problem with shade is that it loves to turn grass into sludge. Practical solutions have led me to embrace paving and artificial grass to tackle the curse of the sludge. Personal experience with my own garden taught me the value of adaptable planters for brightening shady spots. Planting bulbs and perennials adds depth and vibrancy to these spaces.
